C25 Arc 9: an Eton Dorney triathlon (July A)

The Olympic rowing course is the moment on the C25 to test your sprint capability – the venue welcomes cyclists, though racing is not permitted, and provides many km of superbly surfaced track on either side of the course. On this visit a triathlon was in progress, but fortunately NCN4 skirts the site if a race is on.

This is a junction point, with lovely offroad waterside cycling to all points of the compass: N up the Jubilee River to the end of Arc 9 at Taplow; S down the Thames to Eton and Windsor; E on Spoke 8S on the Jubilee River to Langley and West Drayton; W on Spinoff 9 over the Thames to Bray and Crazies Hill. Enjoy!
